03 Spec guide
Whether the material tolerates a diluted bleach solution. In memory care, skilled nursing and any incontinence-exposed application this is usually the first filter to set, not the last.

A price tier from 1 to 15. A lower grade means lower upholstery cost on the same frame, so grade is the fastest lever when a package is over budget.
Densest coverage sits at grades 4, 6 and 8.
Grades, availability and cleaning protocols are maintained by the mills and change with catalog updates. Confirm current data with your Akin representative before it goes into a bid package.
